THE LONDON PRACTICE
Psychotherapy and Coaching
About my work
Whether you are experiencing anxiety or depression, or another issue that is affecting your well-being at the moment, I can support and help you.
My approach is Person-Centred and I aim to build a safe, trusting and empathic relationship in which clients can process difficult and painful feelings at their own pace. I practice in a non-judgemental way which is individual to each client, to encourage their inner resources and strengths and to support their emotional well-being.
Life brings us many different challenges and whether a client comes to explore a specific issue or because they would like to understand themselves better, I aim to enrich their capacity for self-awareness and to realise their potential.
I have special interest in working with eating disorders and body-image issues, and in working with young people. I contribute some of my understanding and learning that my own life experiences have taught me to my counselling practice.
Background and training
I come from a creative background and am also a trained florist, and working with flowers is still a passion of mine.
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Counselling and a BSc in Reflective Practice from the Metanoia Institute.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I have experience working with adults and also with young people, including work as a School Counsellor.
Our initial face-to-face consultation is FREE.
Following that, the fee for weekly 50-minute sessions is £60. I have a limited number of concession spaces available on agreement.
You can pay cash each session or I can send you a monthly invoice for payment in advance by bank transfer, to be paid by the first session of the month.
Locations and availability
I practice at Linen Hall on Regent Street (W1) on Thursdays during the day time and in Clapham SW4 on Wednesdays.
