Integrative Counsellor & Bereavement Specialist
About my work
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor providing specialist support for those struggling with grief and loss following a bereavement. I also offer general counselling for a wide range of other issues including anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.
Whether you are struggling with a particular issue or generally feeling unhappy in your life, I can help you explore any limiting beliefs or difficult life experiences that may be holding you back.
I offer both short and long term / open ended therapy and provide a safe, caring and confidential space through regular 50 minute sessions.
Training and background
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
As an Integrative practitioner, I draw on a range of different approaches in seeking the best way forward. These include the following therapies: Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Transpersonal (in particular Psychosynthesis), as well as body-orientated methods (including Focusing), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques and Attachment Theory.
I have counselled clients in both short and long term / open ended settings, at the following organisations; St Christopher’s Hospice & Bromley Bereavement Service, Wandsworth Bereavement Service and The Minster Centre Psychotherapy & Counselling Service.
Before becoming a Counsellor, I gained wider professional experience in the public, private and charitable sectors. I originally trained as a nurse supporting adults with learning disabilities and went on to work in fundraising for organisations including Macmillan Cancer Support and Rainbow Trust (for children with a terminal illness and their families). I was a Trustee of a local Counselling Service from 2016 to 2017.
Session information and availability
I offer face to face and telephone sessions. My ongoing fees are listed here.
I practice at Linen Hall on Regent Street (W1) on Wednesday afternoons and evenings. I also see clients at Clapham Junction (SW11) on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Contact me today by phone or email on 07897 833 207 or via email@example.com.
When you first get in touch, we will discuss what is troubling you and how I can be of assistance. I look forward to hearing from you and to discussing how I can help.
